Based on the success of the initial REACTOR watch line introduced in early 2004, the REACTOR design team has developed an additional 18 SKUs for holiday delivery.
REACTOR is also proud to announce the first pro athlete to join the REACTOR team, Joel Tudor.Eight of the new SKUs are mid-size watches, focused on women that are serious about their sports and fashion, while the other 10 styles are updates of dial colors and bands for existing case styles.All REACTOR watches are made from solid 316L stainless steel and are water resistant to at least 100M (some models are water resistant to 200M).
Additionally, they feature screw-down crowns, share the same highly phosphorescent Swiss-dial technology, and utilize a unique ?case to band' attachment along with a double safety clasp that prevents watch loss, regardless of the size of the surf.In addition to this aggressive introduction of new product, REACTOR is pleased to announce the signing of it's first professional team athlete, Joel Tudor.

Tritium paint has been used on the hands and numerals of watches since the 1930's. At first this technology was Top Secret and restricted to use on military watches.
Tritium paint on watches is a mixture of tritium and phospor. Tritium is naturally radio-active and needs no external source of light or charge to work. Tritium does not glow. As it decays, tritium emits beta radiation, which are a group of excited electrons that in turn excite the electron in the phosphor atoms making them emit photons, or light.
As they return to their ground (non-excited) state, the phosphor glows. Phosphor can also be excited by UV light from the sun or other light sources. Thus, the tritium paint relies on tritium radioactivity to make the phosphor glow in the dark, not any charge from external light source.
